More to Us is a fundraising exhibition for HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics). It spotlights a group of migrant domestic workers in Singapore who volunteer with HOME, presenting their portraits and personal reflections. It also features the winning pieces from the 2025 Trashion Show, a creative competition for migrant workers where discarded materials are transformed into wearable art. This exhibition celebrates the depth, strength, and complexity of women whose lives often go unseen.

The portraits, created in collaboration with photographer Juliana Tan, reflect the participants’ own choices, from the clothes they wear to how they wish to be seen. Their portraits are accompanied by their own words, sharing their journeys, challenges and hopes. Together, they remind us that every person carries far more than what their daily work reveals.

The Trashion Show 2025, an empowering event organised by Kaugnay and supported by HOME, held its third edition on December 7 2025. Themed "Superhero + Villain," it showcased how creativity and pride can transform trash into high fashion. These five winning pieces challenge our perception of what is considered "trash”. They invite us to reflect on the lived experiences of migrant domestic workers who, at times, feel similarly discarded by society: invisible, diminished, and disposable.

A new video work by Grace Baey and Denise Oliveiro adds another layer of honesty and intimacy, capturing the workers’ reflections on life in Singapore, their dreams for the future and the quiet resilience that sustains them. Through their words, we gain a clearer sense of who they are and what matters to them.

More to Us invites visitors to slow down, pay attention and recognise the individuals who contribute so much to homes and families across Singapore, reminding us that each person is always more than the role they are assigned.
