On this World Mental Health Day, we shine a light on the mental health challenges faced by migrant workers and explore what mental health support for migrant workers should look like.  At HOME, we advocate for strong labour and social safeguards to improve migrant workers’ mental health, including better enforcement of wage theft, freedom to change jobs with reasonable notice period, weekly rest days for Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) and prohibiting unreasonable phone restrictions for MDWs.
