Casework:
Migrant Workers’ Helpdesk

HOME operates a helpdesk for migrant workers in construction, marine, process and service sectors seeking assistance for issues such as wage theft, work injuries, wrongful dismissals and more. Interns will be involved in conducting intake interviews, offering advice to workers unsure of their rights and options, and assisting with the end-to-end process of workers’ cases.
Casework:
Women’s Shelter

HOME runs a crisis shelter for domestic workers who have experienced abuse and exploitation. Interns will gain experience conducting intake interviews, resolving disputes with employers/ employment agencies, and assisting with the end-to-end process of workers’ cases.
What’s in it for you?
