HOME Talent Show 2025
HOME Talent Show makes its return for the third year in a row! One of HOME’s most anticipated social events of the year, HOME Talent Show has been a platform for our migrant workers to showcase their wide array of talents.
This year, 63 individuals competed across 20 performances, vying for the coveted top 5 spots in the singing and dancing categories respectively.
Besides our finalists, we also had guest performances from Sian Chay Charity Centre, UWC students, our judges and local singer Kee Zhen Xian.
International Domestic Workers Day 2025
We also took the opportunity to commemorate International Domestic Workers Day, which falls on 16 June. We celebrated the small wins along this long journey of advocating for migrant rights which have allowed our domestic workers to have some voice within the Singaporean community. Nevertheless, more still needs to be done to better protect and empower our domestic workers to truly recognise their dignity as human beings.

Judging Panel
We were honoured to have a distinguished panel of judges who graded our finalists based on their performance, including concept, execution and overall stage presence.

Winners of Singing Category
This year’s singing category was exceptionally intense. Our top 2 singers scored a tie, and chief judge Pamela Wildheart had to step in to declare the final winner.
Winners of Dancing Category
This year’s dancing category saw a diverse range of cultural performances from our migrant workers’ home countries. It was an honour to witness our migrant workers proudly display their cultural heritage through their mesmerising dances.
Sponsors and Partners
This event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners.
Our venue and event support were provided by the student volunteers from United World College Southeast Asia, who assisted with the sound system and other logistical matters needed to keep our event running.

Bringing Domestic Workers Together, One Performance At A Time
HOME began as a small charity in 2004 by well-meaning Singaporeans who wanted to advocate for and champion the rights of our migrant workers.
Reflecting on this long journey thus far, founding member and consultant Jolovan Wham shared: “When we started HOME, we never thought we could bring so many people together. It was just a few of us who decided that the migrant community matters and that [migrant workers] should have a platform to come together to celebrate [their] talents.”
Asides from our direct services provided to workers and the larger advocacy work towards better employment conditions for migrants, HOME is also committed to hosting more social events that celebrate the diverse cultures and talents of our migrant community. We hope our events provide a space for workers to engage in meaningful social activities while expanding their social networks.
Stay tuned to our social media for updates on our upcoming events!
